The White Party started in 1986 when a small group of friends gathered at 'Delft Haven by the Sea' to play croquet, have a few cocktails, and toast the end of Summer. As the years went by the party grew, but the spirit remained the same … friends enjoying friends ... And why not wear white … it was your last chance of the season. Then in 2011, Peter Page, who had shepherded the party for over 20 years decide to make it a fund raising event. He chose Outer Cape Health Services to be our beneficiary. unfortunately, in 2014 we lost dr. page so his best friend, bob lenzi, took over stewardship of the event. So the party goes on with the same spirit as always, and now we have fun and give back to our community in a meaningful way. Since that first fund raising party we are proud to say we have now donated over $500,000 to Outer Cape Health Services.
